Drew Barrymore has confirmed she has split from her husband.
41 year old Barrymore, who has been married three times, revealed she and husband Will Kopelman are in the process of divorcing less than 4 years after tying the knot and insisted that their daughters, Olive 3, and 23 month old Frankie, will remain their top priority.
IN a Statement to people, they said “Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family”.
Coldplay’s Chris Martin has given a frank insight into his state of mind following his split with Gwyneth Patrow, admitting he experienced “a year of depression”.
The singer separeated from the actress in 2014, after almost 10 years of marriage but they have remained close friends.
Speaking for the first time about the split, which was dubbed ‘conscious uncoupling’ at the time by Gwyneth’s lifestyle website goop, Crhsi explained it was “weird”.
He told the Sunday Times Magazine: “Its always out there in the media, but I have a very wonderful separation-divorce. I’ve lived a lot since then. It’s a divorce, but it’s a weird one”.
American Pie singer Don McLean’s wife has filed for divorce, citing “adultery” and “cruel and abusive treatment”.
Patrisha McLean’s lawyer says legal papers were filed in Maine citing “irreconcilable differences” including allegations he cheated on her during their 30 years of marriage. The move comes just weeks after the 70 year old was arrested on domestic violence assault charges, later pleading not guilty.
During an early court hearing, Patrisha told the Knox County Court her husband had “terrorised” her for hours leading up to police being called. She said the singer “pressed the palms of his hands against my temples and squeezed as though my head were in a vice”. Patrisha added: “My husband has a violent temper. For the first 10 years or so, his rage was unfathomably deep and very scary”. She described how she has suffered from headaches since the alleged incident. A judge hearing the case granted her a protection order banning him from contacting his wife.
