With a passion for helping people, Kate is able to provide practical, down to earth advice with care and compassion.
As a qualified Mediator and Accredited Family Law Specialist, Kate prefers to help her clients resolve their problems with Mediation and Dispute Resolution to keep costs to a minimum but she is always ready to use her extensive legal skills to pursue her client’s case in Court whenever necessary.
Kate has extensive experience in all areas of Family Law Practice including:
- Parenting Plans;
- Parenting Orders;
- Property Orders;
- Family Law Dispute Resolution; and
Kate attended the University of Newcastle where she attained a Bachelor of Arts (majoring in Ancient History) and Bachelor of Laws. Kate went on to study at the Australian National University where she attached her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2007 and was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court in Canberra on the 14 December 2007. Kate commenced working as a Family Lawyer in February 2009.
On 16 October 2013 Kate graduated with her Masters of Applied Law (Family Law). On 26 October 2015 Kate attained her Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution Practice and on 31 August 2015 was registered with the Attorney General’s Department as an Accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.
On 1st November 2015 Kate became an Accredited Family Law Specialist.
Kate joins Brazel Moore Family Lawyers to become the head of our Family Law Practice.
