Amelia Cox

Family Lawyer

Amelia has extensive experience in the following areas of law, including:

Amelia attended Macquarie University Sydney where she attained her Bachelor of Social Science and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2017. In 2018, Amelia completed her Diploma of Legal Practice,and was admitted as an Australian Legal Ptractitioner in the Supreme Court of NSW and in 2019 was admitted as a Solicitor to the High Court of Australia During her studies, Amelia gained knowledge and experience with practical legal training as a volunteer at the Central Coast Community Legal Centre providing free legal assistance to people in need.

Amelia has since been employed as a Family Lawyer for a Central Coast Law Firm specialising in Family Law including Property Settlement, Childrens’ Orders and Divorce. Amelia is a high achieving Solicitor with superior research and analytical skills. She is committed to making the most of every opportunity to further develop her legal skills and strives to be a valuable member of the community. Amelia’s friendly , down to earth approach allows her to communicate clearly and effectively with her clients relieving the anxiety and stress that can be felt during the family law process. Amelia is a skilled negotiator and works cooperatively with her clients and other Lawyers with a view to obtaining the best outcome for her clients. Amelia joined Brazel Moore Family Lawyers in 2021 as our Family Law Team Leader.

Amelia Born and raised on the Central Coast Amelia likes to spend time enjoying our lovely beaches or curled up with a good book. Away from work Amelia loves nothing more than spending time with family and friends.


Tara Lopes


Tara grew up in Canberra and has a background in federal government; including working at the Attorney General’s Department and the Department of Social Services. In 2013, she completed a Bachelor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Griffith University while working full time.

During this time she was inspired to join the legal profession with the goal of providing everyday people with a clear understanding of their legal rights through quality legal representation.

In 2014, Tara relocated Sydney and completed a Bachelor of Laws at Central Queensland University while working full time at the NSW Department of Communities and Justice. She graduated in late 2019 and went on to complete the Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in 2020, where she studied electives in Family Law and Criminal Law.

Tara was admitted as a solicitor to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2020 and is a member of the NSW Law Society.

Tara joined Brazel Moore Lawyers in 2021 and has become an integral part of our Family Law Team.



Family Law Paralegal

Sue has had over 10 years experience as a secretary in the Family Law and has been with Brazel Moore Famly Lawyers since October 2017.

Sue provides a wide range of support to the Brazel Moore Family Law Team and clients. Sue has extensive experience in preparing court documentation for Local Court, District Court, Family and Federal Circuit Courts of Australia.

Motivated to helping others Sue is one of your first points of contact with the Family Law Team at Brazel Moore Family Lawyers and is committed to ensuring that each clients’ matter runs smoothly from start to finish.



Family Law Secretary

Bonnie finished her HSC in 2017. She joined Brazel Moore Lawyers in January 2018 as an Office Administrative Assistant. Bonnie’s dedication, efficiency and friendly nature have enabled her to transition to working full time as a Junior Family Law Secretary. Bonnie’s excellent organisational and communication skills allow her to assist clients to a high standard.
